About: Linda S. Thompson’s fascination with the multigenerational challenges we all face in today’s society began while she was writing her first book, Planning for Tomorrow, Your Passport to a Confident Future. That book provides guidelines and options that help people prepare their own safety net. Her approach to those not so pleasant and all too often avoided (but necessary) details, will help people understand how they can protect their families and secure their own futures. It was then that she began to understand why we have conflict in our homes, in our offices, and in everything we do throughout our days. That ‘AHA’ moment became one chapter in her book. That one chapter eventually became the book, Every Generation Needs a New Revolution. As a working caregiver for over ten years, Linda had hands-on experience dealing with the many issues of the aging of America. That experience led her to write "A Caregiver’s Journey, You Are Not Alone.” Through her lectures, seminars and publications, Linda has impacted thousands of lives. Not only does she help people understand how to peacefully coexist with other generations, she also helps them to understand that the realities of life and death frequently come at the least expected times. She teaches us to accept that life planning isn't just for the older generations, but for us all - from the college student to the octogenarian. As she says, “Life happens while we're busy making other plans.”See Author's Posts (8)
