PhoenixProspector.com Makes Business Site Selection Easier

The city of Phoenix has launched PhoenixProspector.com, an innovative online mapping tool that provides business owners immediate and easy access to market and commercial property information needed to identify the right site location for their firms.

PhoenixProspector.com simplifies the process of working with city government when making business relocation and expansion decisions. The tool makes important city records available at the click of a mouse. Users can access business data, zoning information, market and workforce demographics, surrounding business profiles and commercial property information, plus print maps and download custom reports for each listed property.

“Putting this project together was a collaborative effort between city government and the brokerage community that will ultimately pay big dividends for our community,” said Mayor Phil Gordon. “PhoenixProspector.com provides immediate access to critical business and development information needed to facilitate job and business growth within the city of Phoenix.”

PhoenixProspector.com is powered by Geographic Information Systems (GIS), a coordinated collection of software, geographic data and applications designed to efficiently assemble and display all forms of geographic-referenced information (e.g. council districts, property lot numbers, redevelopment zones, etc.). GIS is used worldwide in government, education and business.

“PhoenixProspector.com provides needed site selection analysis information with unique geographic advantages and business opportunities in our community,” said Bobby Franco, acting Community and Economic Development director.

Amy Whatley, marketing associate/leasing agent for Colliers International said, “We’re always looking for new ways to market our properties. PhoenixProspector.com offers a great deal of information to prospective owners and tenants and the fact that it’s free is an added benefit for everyone.”

To access this site selection mapping tool, visit PhoenixProspector.com. For more information, call the Community and Economic Development Department at 602-262-5040.
