Who Doesn’t Love a Page-a-Day Calendar?

Who doesn’t love a Page-a-Day calendar? They make every kind you can possibly imagine… sports trivia, kittens, crossword puzzles, sensational headlines, investment strategies, and more. It’s so much fun to have something new and different to look at every day - something to make you laugh, think, smile, or wonder - something you look forward to each day – a great way to start each day fresh. Now, wouldn’t it be great if we could have a “Page-a-Day Marriage?” A what? A marriage based on the same principles…
What if you woke up every morning, excited to see your spouse? What if at least once a day you looked at your spouse and just found them irresistibly cute? What if you really stopped and thought seriously about your partner at least once a day – paused and figured out the answer to a tough problem facing your family? How would it be if each day you learned an interesting fact about your husband or wife, something you never knew before, something that might shock, amuse, or delight you? Wouldn’t that be amazing?
The good news is that you can have it and you can use that Page-a-Day calendar you got for Christmas to help you. Go ahead and enjoy your calendar. Do your word search, read the famous quote, laugh at the cartoon, do whatever is appropriate to have a good time with your calendar each day. Then, when you tear the page off, flip it over and get out a pen…
On the back side, write down something for your spouse. Maybe you will write one thing that you love about him or something you appreciate about her. You could remind him of a favorite memory you have with him or tell her what you love about her. You could share one interesting fact about yourself each day or pose a quiz question to which you supply the answer. You could offer one favor that day or thank them for one they just did, or you could just draw a heart or put a lipstick kiss on the page and drop it into tomorrow’s lunchbag. You could put the note in the same place each day or hide them around the house for them to find later. The possibilities are endless!
